Come worship Christ the Lord with us! We are a close knit fellowship of believers who desire to bring the light of the gospel of Christ Jesus to the world.
...let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Discipleship Ministry
The Great commission teaches us to go out into all the world and make disciples (Matt 28:19-20). Salvation requires hearing the gospel accompanied by the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit (John 3:1-8; Ephesians 2:5). This supernatural work, called regeneration, produces repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 20:20-21). The truly saved person perseveres in faithfulness (John 8:31, Acts 26:20, Eph 2:10). Assurance of salvation is based upon a life of faithfulness that shows the fruits of repentance, obedience, love towards God and fellow believers (2 Peter 1:10;1 John 3:18,19). The person who walks in a continual state of carnality with no divine discipline can have no assurance of being a child of God, no matter how adamantly he professes his allegiance to Christ (Hebrews 12:8; 10:26-31).
It is our desire to see every follower of Christ thoroughly equipped with God's Word which will help them in every aspect of their lives. Discipleship occurs through one-on-one mentoring as well as in small group studies and Bible study classes.
"This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone." Titus 3:8

Evangelism Ministry
It is the duty of every believer to evangelize the lost. Holding to the views of our Southern Baptist founders in theology, we adamantly stand against the extremes of Hyper-Calvinism which teaches that since God is sovereign in salvation that we have no responsibility to evangelize and the opposite extreme of “easy believism” which teaches that salvation is simply a stated belief in Christ without the necessity of a life of repentance and perseverance.
We believe it is the responsibility of every follower of Christ to witness to others around them the life changing goodness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe our testimony begins with a lifestyle that reflects the holiness of God. Through building relationships with people we come in contact with, the truth of the gospel of Christ is spread among the "lost" in our community (John 6:37, 44, 65). When the "lost" hear the Word of God and follow Him our job is not over. Our evangelism ministry is followed by small group and one-on-one discipleship centered on the sound teaching of the Word.

Family Ministry
We believe God wants to build strong families for the edification of the church. We believe God has laid out in His Word a specific framework for the home. Husbands and wives have distinct roles within the home and the body of Christ. We encourage family devotional and worship times. We encourage fathers to mentor their sons in biblical manhood and mothers to mentor their daughters in biblical womanhood. Worship of God begins in the home.
"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up." Deuteronomy 6:6,7

Teaching Ministry
Our pastor is committed to teaching verse by verse the whole Word of God in accordance with II Timothy 3:16,17 which says, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God my be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Worship Ministry
At Living Faith Baptist Church it is our hearts desire to bring glory and honor to our King. Our ministry of worship is reflected in our corporate gatherings to pray and bring God-centered praise to His name. We mix both contemporary and traditional worship styles.
"God has ascended among shouts of joy, the LORD amid the sounding of trumpets. Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises." Psalm 47: 5,6

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns!
~ Isaiah 52: 7
